Georgia schools achieved major success this past weekend at the Greenhill Fall Classic in Dallas, TX.  Ten students from four schools reached elimination rounds in Varsity Policy Debate.  Stratford Academy’s Andrew Jones & Hemanth Sanjeev and Pace Academy’s Jordan Epstein & Victor Skenderi reached the Octofinal round receiving a qualifying leg to the 2012 Tournament of Champions.

Pace Academy’s Lauren Sukin & Brian Klarman, Woodward Academy’s Jason Sigalos & Rahim Shakoor, and Westminster School’s Robel Worku & Willy Xiao all reached the double octofinal round.  Reaching elimination rounds at the Greenhill tournament is a very great achievement. Congratulations to these teams and their coaches.

Additionally, Woodward Academy and Stratford Academy were both invited to participate in the Greenhill Round Robin before the tournament.  Woodward Academy placed 3rd overall out of sixteen schools invited.
